Employee Assistance Program

Help For All Areas of Life

A resource to assist with your health is the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Grant Thornton offers two different EAPs to support all employees, through Optum and ComPsych. These programs provide personalized and confidential consultation to help you handle issues that may arise. The following are some of the services the EAPs provide:

24/7 access to professionals through a toll-free number for assessment and consultations.

Up to five face-to-face counseling sessions with ComPsych and six with Optum, as well as 24/7 access to virtual counseling services at no cost. BetterHelp is the ComPsych virtual counseling option and Talk-Space is the Optum virtual option.

Counseling sessions and Web access are available for a variety of work/life-related issues including: Legal concerns, financial issues, child & elder care assistance, and pre-retirement planning.

You can also get help accessing additional help with the EAPs. The programs can make referrals to local resources and services, such as community and governmental agencies serving the disabled, homemaker services, assistive equipment and day care for children and elderly parents.
