Care for young, old, and four-legged
Grant Thornton is providing help with finding the right care for children, pets, and elderly with our Care@Work benefits through Care.com. You’ll be able to find the right type of care you’ll need, including:
- Nannies and sitters
- Senior caregivers
- Dog walkers, sitters, and groomers
- Personal assistants
- Summer camps
- Special needs care
- Tutors
- Transportation assistance
- House cleaners
- Child care centers
Using a Care.com membership you can either search for the service you need or post a job for what you’re looking for and receive responses within hours. Using either the Care.com app or website, you’ll have access to background checks, reviews, and set up phone or video interviews. Once you’ve hired someone, you can easily pay through Care.com. Grant Thornton wants you to get the care you need wherever and whenever you need it.
Care.com offers you access to in-home, or in-center vetted and subsidized care providers, or through your own personal care network. You can use backup care for last-minute sitter cancellations, if your child is mildly sick, and more. Line up your care and pay them directly—and get a receipt. Then visit your Care@Work portal to get reimbursed.
- Maximum daily reimbursement is $125 (after copay is satisfied).
- 20 day benefit, January 1 – December 31, 2026. There is a cap of 10 personal network days.
- Backup care subsidized rates:
- $8/hour for in-home care
- $20 per child per day at childcare centers with $35 maximum/day/family
Backup care for adults
Care.com provides backup care for adults for rides to doctor’s appointments, help recovering from surgery, meal prep, care when regular adult care isn’t available, etc.
- 20 day benefit, January 1 – December 31, 2026. There is a cap of 10 personal network days.
- Backup care subsidized rates: $8/hour for in-home care
